*MY THOUGHTS*
After reading Unbreakable I wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to continue with this series, because while it was good, the characters and romance just weren't that great to me. But in this one, it definitely got better. Not the characters, but the romance.

There were definitely some things I liked better than the last one. For example the writing style was better. I said I liked it before because the chapters were short, but it was almost the opposite this time. I liked them because they were a little longer. It made them more suspenseful. Which was again my favorite part of the novel. There's so many changes and things that we think we know about Kennedy and Jared, but all that goes out the window the moment things start getting heated. And when I say get heated, I mean scary. Because what happens to one of them is one of the most chilling things ever.

What I wasn't a fan of though, was Kennedy. Again. She was was so naive about everything all the time. And she picked the worst possible times to do certain things. Like you want to get in an argument with someone you haven't seen in forever? Yes that's fine. Let's just please not do it when things are trying to kill you. And yes we know that you are only alive for the one man you've ever loved so him going through anything will hurt you. But do you really need to give up and kill all the free world because of it?! She was really making my head hurt for a minute there.

Then there was the romance. The only reason I liked it this time was the fact that there is an unexpected added factor in it. And trust me, it will shock you. I felt so bad for them both because I don't think there is anything they can do! It really feels like a hopeless case. I also liked it because there is another romance budding now, but this one isn't quite as obvious. And it's no matter where near as insta-lovey as the first one was. I really like the way this one was written because it doesn't seem like that "You saved me so I owe you" kind of love like the last one.

One thing that sort of made me upset though was the ending. This one ends on another cliff hanger, but this one is a little more intense. At the end you find some out some really important things and then you're just left hanging as Kennedy and the crew are trying to sort them out. I'm guessing there will be another installment to this series (I wasn't sure when I started reading this one) so I'm interested in seeing how Garcia's writing style will be when she actually has to write an ending.
