 *MY THOUGHTS*

I am writing this review because I'm so upset about this book. I wanted to love this book (the cover was beautiful and it's by a deut author) but it seemed like as soon as I opened it, everything went wrong.
The main character is annoying. Yes she's a movie star, but she clearly wasn't taught manners in any of those movies. She was rude and didn't know how to talk to people in the beginning. And she was definitely clueless. I can understand that there's some things you don't know how to do, but even as a regular person you should know not to leave a bag with huge lumps of money by it's lonesome. Like you don't have to have a huge IQ to know better than that.
Then there's the writing style. I really felt like I was on a super weird acid trip. And then I went and flipped to the end just to see if my hunch was right. (Because I had guessed who it was just by the first few pages.) And of course it was. By then, I didn't think it was necessary for me to continue the journey through this book. Clearly there was no suspense OR drama.
I'm not saying I won't read another book by Sabel, but for now, this is just disappointing. Wish I had liked it so much more than I did. As with all books, this is fully mu opinion. You may like it, so don't hesitate to at least give it a try.

Overall, I give this
